So I’ve gotten pretty lazy with my climbing over the last several weeks with all the mess moving. Fortunately I had been keeping up with my conditioning and yoga workouts. So this morning I had my first real session in far too long. Amanda was able to meet up with me and we climbed for about 2 and a half hours, and then threw in a single tri-set (push/pull/hang for 5 minutes each) at the end, which somehow managed to put smiles on our faces, as you can see. Now I’m stuffing my mouth with mozzarella and chicken ravioli with a garlic cream sauce before my work day starts, and I’ll be hitting up yoga after work. Need to get .14 in ‘14 back on track.

Got a new toy from Belay Specs for leading outside! Don’t really see myself using these in the gym though. Hopefully they’ll see some usage this weekend.

We finally got some volumes in!!! We’ve been needing to get some of these for far too long. I may end up ordering a bunch more over the next several months to help with our pretty much all vertical rope walls.

So it turns out I’m moving this month!
I was notified this last weekend that my rent would be going up starting in June, so I scrambled this last week to find a new place to move into by the end of the May. I’ll be moving from the apartments in the top picture, into a room in the house in the lower picture. This will be the first time I’ve lived with anyone else in almost 4 years. It’s going to be interesting…
